ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES English Language courses are offered on full-time and part-timebasis for a year. These courses are divided into two semesters namely January and June intake. Short courses are also offered for two months after completion, students are free to join the full time or part-time courses of their choice, for a year. Students will be assessed to determine in which level they can be placed according to the NQA assessment policy. |
ENGLISH BEGINNERS (PRELIMINARY) What can preliminary-level learner of English do They can understand and use very common everyday expressions and simple phrases for immediate needs. They can introduce themselves and other people and can ask and answer questions about personal details, such as where they live, things they have and people they know. |
ESOL (ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES) ESOL is the name Lingua International Training College Lingua has given to its program for teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages This course program is designed to meet the needs of students for whom English is not their dominant language. The goal is to prepare students for success in school and in society through the development of cultural awareness and English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. |

NAMIBIAN LANGUAGES The following Namibian languages are only offered as short courses: These courses can be offed as short courses which are specialized classes that aim to teach specific knowledge and competencies in a short amount of time, e.g. two months. Unlike college or post-graduate studies which cover fields and industries more holistically, short courses specifically discuss specific skills.
