International Training College Lingua (ITCL) recently participated in a significant public award ceremony hosted by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in Windhoek. This event celebrated the registration of higher education institutions, accreditation of academic programs, and the quality audit of institutions.

Addressing the audience, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Technology, and Innovation, Hon. Nathalia /Goagoses, underscored the importance of program accreditation as a cornerstone of quality assurance in higher education. She elaborated on how accreditation ensures that educational institutions and their programs uphold established standards of excellence.

β€œThe accredited status of programmes is essential as it signals to the students, parents, employers, and the public that the institution or programme meets quality standards, enhancing its reputation and credibility. It also helps institutions comply with government and industry regulations, which is critical for their operation and legitimacy” she said.
